Judge to make decision on Vernon sexual assault retrial at month's end

A B.C. Supreme Court judge will decide on the retrial of Keith Chase at the end of January 2025, according to the B.C. Prosecution Service.
Keith Chase is accused of sexually assaulting a minor 21 years ago while coaching her hockey team in 2004.
Chase was previously convicted in 2022 but appealed the decision, leading to a retrial that concluded in December 2024.
