After months of planning, the Nunavut Sport Federation is launching its new Nunavut Sport and Recreation Hall of Fame, with a ceremony planned in Iqaluit this fall.

Rankin Inlet’s Jordin Tootoo and Attima Hadlari, who was born on the land between Taloyoak and Kugaaruk, will become the first two inductees into the Nunavut Sport and Recreation Hall of Fame on Oct. 3.
