Jon Gosselin Shares Message for His Estranged Children: ‘Form Your Own Opinions’
He says he still loves his six estranged children and wants them to read Collin Gosselin’s memoir before judging the family.
Jon Gosselin issued an emotional message to his six estranged children on Friday, urging them to 'form your own opinions' and read their brother's new memoir. 'I hope you understand that I still love you,' he said.
The 49-year-old father rose to fame on TLC's Jon & Kate Plus 8, but has been estranged from twins Mady and Cara for 13 years and has not seen the other four children since before COVID.
Jon's plea follows the release of Collin Gosselin's memoir, In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood, released earlier this month, which details allegations of childhood abuse by mother Kate Gosselin.
Production is underway on a Netflix documentary featuring interviews with Jon, Collin, and Hannah Gosselin, though Hannah recently stated she is 'distancing herself' from the ongoing family drama.
Jon expressed hope that his children will one day reach out, reiterating his desire to talk during the Friday interview. 'Of course I want to talk to them,' he said.
