Jeff Uttz will join the roughly 70-unit full-service chain on May 18 after four years at the revolving sushi restaurant. Kura Sushi is in the process of finding his replacement.

Charlotte-based Firebirds Wood Fired Grill named restaurant industry veteran Jeff Uttz as its chief financial officer, effective May 18. Uttz is now CFO at Irvine, California-based Kura Sushi, a sushi chain restaurant with 83 units.
