Jags safety Eric Murray likely to play vs. Texans at Wembley Stadium
Eric Murray was a full participant in Friday practice after a concussion, and coach Liam Coen said he felt more confident about the veteran returning.
Jacksonville Jaguars safety Eric Murray practiced fully on Friday, making him likely to play Sunday against his former team, the Houston Texans, at Wembley Stadium.
Murray missed the Jaguars' 19-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles last week after sustaining a concussion against Cincinnati. He is in his second season with Jacksonville following five years with the Texans.
Jags coach Liam Coen said he felt "more confident" about Murray returning. Earlier this week, Coen described the veteran as "a competitor, he's physical, he brings a standard to everything that we do on the back end."
The Jaguars ruled out cornerback Montaric Brown and long snapper Ross Matiscik for Sunday's game. Jacksonville signed Jacob Bobenmoyer as backup long snapper, while Cornerback Jaylon Jones remains questionable with a hamstring injury.
Preparation for the international matchup took place in Hertfordshire, England, where the Jaguars practiced Wednesday. This contest offers the team a chance to build momentum following their 19-17 victory over Philadelphia.
