Gov. Reynolds signs AEA overhaul, teacher salary increase bill into law

Summary by Ground News
Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds signed a bill Wednesday changing the funding and operations of Iowa's nine area education agencies. The law also sets state funding for public schools and boost public teacher pay. The changes reflect a goal set out by Reynolds during her Condition of the State address nearly three months ago. Democrats vehemently opposed the changes, arguing they were unnecessary.
