Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi is traveling to Georgia today as part of the fight against organized crime and drug networks abroad. Following the extradition of four crime leaders from Argentina, Georgia, and Azerbaijan, Turkey is expanding its cooperation mechanism with Georgia.
Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi will travel to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, tomorrow to strengthen cooperation with neighboring countries in the extradition of members of organized crime groups who have fled abroad and in the fight against drug trafficking. The aim is to expand the trilateral mechanism between Türkiye, Bulgaria, and Greece and to include Georgia in the fight against transnational crime.
