LAKELAND, Fla. (WFLA) -- A former Kathleen High School educator was arrested Wednesday, accused of having a sexual relationship with a student. The Polk County Sheriff's Office said a former student reported having an inappropriate relationship with Donald Mitchell, 36, on social media. She said it lasted from October 2023, when she was still a student, to November 2024, after her graduation.
