The A13 motorway between Paris and Caen, which is very busy, will be closed from mid-November 2026 until the end of August 2027 in the direction of Normandy at the level of the tunnel of Saint-Cloud, announced Tuesday the prefect of Île-de-France and Paris, Georges-François Leclerc.
The amount of consolidation work – which will involve the sinking of a new reinforced concrete hull inside the Saint-Cloud tunnel – is estimated at €35 million.
This closure is due to the construction of the north tube of the tunnel, "in order to guarantee it a greater durability", explains the prefecture of Ile-de-France. It is also linked to the construction site of the future West Line 15 of the Grand Paris Express.
The prefecture of Ile-de-France announces this Tuesday the partial closure and for nine months of the tunnel of Saint-Cloud of the motorway of Normandy. The north tube of the structure will be the subject of consolidation work. Motorists will have to find an alternative route or to find a new one.
