Super Bowl 60: How Much Do Players Get Paid if They Win?
A perfect playoff run can earn NFL players up to $376,000 in bonuses under the collective bargaining agreement, with the Super Bowl winner bonus rising $7,000 this season.
On Sunday, February 8th, Super Bowl LX will feature the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots at Levi's Stadium, with winners earning a $178,000 league-paid bonus, up $7,000 from last year.
The NFL's Collective Bargaining Agreement sets a flat postseason pay structure, with $53,500 for Wild Card, $58,500 for Divisional, and $81,000 for the Conference Championship, per game.
Add up earlier rounds and a perfect run would yield $376,000 total this year, while Super Bowl runner-up players earn $103,000 per player under the CBA.
For fringe players on minimum deals, postseason pay can be a meaningful share of income, while veteran players may unlock appearance and performance bonuses worth up to $1 million.
The CBA also builds in next season participation increases and 2030 payout projections of $228,000 per-player winners and $153,000 per-player losers.
