- Retailers including Marshalls, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, and Sierra Trading Post sold the recalled candy across 13 states. Consumers can identify affected products by style numbers and packaging sizes ranging from 7-oz. to 16-oz.
- Customers must contact Crystal Temptations directly with proof of purchase for a refund, as the Food and Drug Administration advises destroying the candy. Refunds are not available at original retailers.
- Although no illnesses have been reported to date, the agency warns that individuals with severe milk sensitivities could experience a "serious or life-threatening allergic reaction." Those experiencing anaphylaxis should call 911 immediately.
