Japan has a new sumo grand champion—or yokozuna—and the big news is he's Japanese.

The Japan Sumo Association (JSA) Board of Directors is set to meet next week to discuss the status of Grand Champion Hakuho M. Davaajargal’s ring. The emergency meeting was called after Hakuho submitted his resignation from the sumo association yesterday, the sources said. The Miyagino ring, led by Hakuho M.
