In the Gyanvapi case, the Varanasi court on Friday rejected the petition of the Hindu party, which demanded an ASI survey of the entire complex. Hindu litigant Vijay Shankar Rastogi had argued in his petition that a 100 feet huge Shivling and Argha of Lord Adi Visheshwar is located under the main dome of the mosque, which should be archaeologically surveyed with the help of penetrating radar.
