Poland held an unprecedentedly large military parade on Saturday, August 15th. With the slogan "Poland SAFE," the parade provided an opportunity for authorities to showcase the country's military readiness, as it aims to become the leading military power in Europe by 2035.

Poland marked Armed Forces Day on Aug. 15, 2026, commemorating its victory over Soviet forces in the 1920 Battle of Warsaw. The country’s largest military parade highlighted NATO unity and Poland’s efforts to strengthen the alliance’s eastern flank.

On Saturday (August 15), Armed Forces Day, Poland held its largest military parade in history in the capital Warsaw and along the Baltic coast, assembling more than 2,000 officers and soldiers, 300 military vehicles of various types, more than 60 aircraft and more than 20 ships, showcasing the military strength of its land, sea and air forces.
