Castro Almeida defends the PRR as "conquest of Portugal" but admits pending verification work. Almost 5,000 million will still be disbursed in 2027.
"On 31 August we completed 100% of the milestones and targets, but there is still a lot of work on document verification and certification of the milestones and milestones [...]. I would like to appeal to all Members to view the PRR as a conquest of the Portuguese and Portugal," said Castro Almeida.

The Minister of Economy and Territorial Cohesion, Castro Almeida, stated that the total execution of the Recovery and Resilience Plan is a "conquer" of the country, but stressed that there is still a "surgical work" to complete the verification and certification processes.
Executive will propose to the contractors an addition to the contract, removing the clause that says that if the works are not completed by the deadline, the parties have to return the money.
