Paris Saint-Germain Reign Supreme As 2026 Men’s Club of the Year
- On Tuesday, October 27, 2026, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona Femini were named Men's and Women's Club of the Year at the 2026 Ballon ceremony, beating nominees including Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and Flamengo.
- The Parisians secured the honor for the second consecutive year after hoisting five trophies last season, including back-to-back Champions League titles defended against Arsenal with a 4-3 penalty shootout victory in Budapest.
- Barcelona Femini retained their award following a treble-winning season, with president Joan Laporta accepting the trophy as head coach Pere Romeu was named Women's Coach of the Year.
- Individual honors went to Barcelona and Spain star Lamine Yamal as Men's Young Player, teammate Vicky Lopez as Women's Young Player, and Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka for the Socrates Award.
- Real Madrid boycotted the ceremony in solidarity with Vinícius Júnior, who they believed should have beaten Rodri for the Ballon, contrasting with prior winners Manchester City, Chelsea, and Los Blancos.
