Global Uranium Corp. Announces Proposed Share Consolidation
The proposed move would cut outstanding shares to about 5.9 million and leave the company name unchanged, with fractional shares rounded under set rules.
On Thursday, Calgary-based Uranium Corp announced plans to consolidate its Common Shares on a ten-to-one basis, reducing outstanding shares from 59,158,004 to approximately 5,915,800.
The Company focuses on exploring and developing uranium assets across North America, including the Astro Project in the Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan and the Airline Project in Wyoming.
Regarding fractional Common Shares resulting from the Consolidation, interests of one-half or greater will be rounded up while those less than one-half are rounded down with no cash consideration paid.
The Company will not change its name following the Consolidation and will issue a subsequent news release after filing necessary documentation with the Canadian Securities Exchange regarding CUSIP and ISIN identifiers.
Regarding regulatory status, the Canadian Securities Exchange has neither approved nor disapproved the information regarding the proposed Consolidation, which the Company will finalize once all documentation is processed.
