Glasgow driver 'rammed on motorway' by three men with weapons in 'targeted attack'
Police say the attack was targeted, and officers are tracing a dark blue Renault Clio and three armed men.
On Saturday, June 13, three men in a dark blue Renault Clio carried out a "targeted attack" on a silver Nissan Micra on the M74 off-slip at Polmadie Road in Glasgow around 12.10am.
The Clio "deliberately struck" the Micra, forcing it off the road, after which three armed men exited to damage the vehicle before the driver fled.
Following the initial confrontation, the Clio pursued the Micra along Polmadie Road and Aikenhead Road, where further "deliberate" collisions occurred between the two vehicles.
Police Scotland reported no injuries from the incident, and Detective Inspector Stephen Greenshields is appealing for witnesses and dash-cam or CCTV footage to assist investigations.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference 0032 of June 13, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
