Foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) was not found in any of the 888 cattle recently transported from the German region of Brandenburg to the Netherlands. This was reported by Minister Femke Wiersma (Agriculture) in a letter to the House of Representatives. She will determine in the course of next week whether the precautionary measures against the virus can be relaxed.
