The body that was found on August 16 by a group of hikers in a cave in Mogan belongs to a 61-year-old woman who resided in a sub-housing near the GC-500 road. The Civil Guard has taken charge of the investigation to find out if she was killed or accidentally died, as next to the body there was a bloody stone next to the head.

Investigators are treating the case as a possible homicide. Passersby found the body on August 16 in the Cañada de los Gatos ravine in Mogán, in the south of the island.
The woman had been living in the town for a while and was found dead today.
