The sisters credit years of support and family history at the school as they prepare to attend Kennesaw State University this fall.
Twins Moriah and Sarai Freeman-Foster claimed the top spots at Hapeville Charter Career Academy in Georgia, graduating as valedictorian and salutatorian respectively.
Their father taught art at Hapeville Charter Career Academy before passing away, and the sisters said seeing his former classroom remains deeply significant to them.
Moriah and Sarai describe each other as support systems through every challenge. "She's my best friend, literally my other half," Moriah said; Sarai added, "Even though we want the best for ourselves, we want better for each other, together."
The twins will walk across the graduation stage together before heading to Kennesaw State University this fall, where they plan to major in nursing.
Their mother, Ebony, hopes her daughters continue building unique legacies. "They are all individual," Ebony said. "Nobody comes with a guide on how to raise children, and no child is the same.
