On Thursday, April 16, 2026, the Machado Bridge on Artículo 27 Constitucional Street in Playas de Rosarito was partially closed, according to the municipal Civil Protection agency. A gas tanker truck became stuck while attempting to enter the bridge. Firefighters are assisting in the removal of the fuel and the vehicle in order to restore traffic flow.
