From April 1 to July 31, 2026, two French Rafale fighter squadrons carried out 39 interception missions over the Baltic Sea as part of NATO's Baltic Air Policing mission. This included the interception of an FSB air command post. The French Ministry of Defense reported this.
During their four-month patrol, the French fighters also got to do real-life combat missions.
