The Czech government will send four repatriation flights for Czechs stranded in the Middle East. Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) said this on Nova television on Sunday. All of them will fly to Oman – three to Muscat and one to Salalah. 650 citizens out of a total of 6,650 registered in the Drozd system have reportedly expressed interest in the flights.
The first plane carrying tourists from the Middle East since the start of the US attack on Iran landed in Prague on Tuesday after 2:00 a.m. The Smartwings plane, with a capacity of around 200 people, transported passengers from the airport in Muscat, Oman.
A second Smartwings plane carrying Czech tourists from Oman landed in Prague shortly before 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. There were about 200 people on board. The first flight landed at 2:00 a.m.
