Last year's top BCHL netminder making waves early in U.S. college hockey

Ajeet Gundarah is making a name for himself as a freshman at Sacred Heart University, ranking among the best in save percentage and goals against average despite starting the season injured.
Gundarah was named Atlantic Hockey America Goalie of the Week after stopping 67 of 70 shots, helping Sacred Heart earn a tie and a victory.
He is one of only a handful of Division I hockey players of South Asian descent and was included in the Hockey Commissioners Association's watch list for the Mike Richter Award.
Head Coach C.J. Marottolo praised Gundarah's demeanor and ability to boost team confidence, stating he works hard and approaches practice with a positive attitude.
