Former Mt. Diablo after-school director arrested, charged with stealing electronics

(KRON) -- A former Mt. Diablo Unified School District (MDUSD) employee has been arrested and charged with mail fraud in connection to the theft of electronics that were meant to go to schools, the United States District Attorney's Office said. Eric Rego, 39, now of El Dorado Hills, was MDUSD's program coordinator.
