A forest fire in the Längapiesting area near Gutenstein has been demanding seven fire brigades since Monday morning. The extinguishing work is particularly difficult.
A forest has been burning near the village of Nalžovice in the Příbram region since Monday morning. According to initial information from firefighters, the fire has engulfed an area of approximately 4.5 hectares. Two helicopters are also helping firefighters bring the flames under control.
Ostrava - Firefighters ended their intervention at the forest and field fire in Nový Vrbno in the Opava region today after noon, which they had been fighting since Thursday. More than 70 fire brigade units took turns at the scene during the intervention. Firefighters' spokeswoman Petra Lukášová told reporters.
