Helsinki Looks at Building Up Air Defence After Stray Drone Crash

Finland’s prime minister said on Tuesday, March 31st that the country would consider upping the pace of the development of its drone defence after two stray drones crashed in southeastern Finland. According to Defense Minister Antti Häkkänen (Kokk), the Ukrainians are trying to do their best to prevent drones from straying into Finland. Iltalehti reached Häkkänen (Kokk) on Tuesday evening from his vacation to comment on the situation in which three drones have strayed into Finland. One drone landed in Kouvola on Sunday and another in Luumäki, and today one drone was spotted in Parikkala.
