Daniel Vilela was re-elected governor of Goiás on Sunday (4), in the first round of the elections of 2026. Candidate for MDB, Vilela received 58.82% of the valid votes, the equivalent of 1,947,517 votes, according to data from the Superior Electoral Court (TSE). Until 19:30, 90.14% of the ballots had been cleared in the state. Wilder Morais (PL) was in second place.
