FedEx Names Jamere Jackson as Next CFO
Jackson, formerly CFO at Hertz and Nielsen, will replace interim finance chief Claude Russ as FedEx prepares to report results.
On Monday, FedEx appointed Jamere Jackson as chief financial officer, effective November 30, and he will also serve as an executive vice president.
Jackson previously served as chief financial officer of AutoZone for six years, with prior leadership roles at Hertz, Nielsen, and General Electric.
At FedEx, Jackson succeeds Claude Russ, who served as interim finance chief since John Dietrich stepped down on June 1. "Jamere brings a deep understanding of how disciplined financial strategy translates into strong operational performance," CEO Raj Subramaniam said.
Executing its Network 2.0 strategy, FedEx is consolidating separate Ground and Express networks to streamline airline operations during a volatile period for supply chains.
FedEx reports third-quarter results on Wednesday, positioning the company as a Fortune 100 bellwether for the U.S. economy and global trade.
