“It is time to eradicate terrorists in Syria,” President Erdogan said on Friday. He refers to IS, which is more active again, but especially to the Kurds. Although the focus on that last nemesis can literally open the gates for the revival of IS.

“Het is tijd om de terroristen in Syrië uit te roeien”, zei president Erdogan vrijdag. Hij doelt op IS dat weer actiever is, maar vooral op de Koerden. Al kan de focus op die laatste aartsvijand net letterlijk de poorten openzetten voor de revival van IS.
