The schools accredited to teach Kurdish are distributed in four governorates of Syria: Hasakeh, Damascus, Aleppo and Hama.
On Thursday, the Syrian Ministry of Education issued a decision accepting the registration of students with basic education certificates and school documents issued by the former "self-management" and regulating their movement and enrolment in transitional classes, in accordance with the provisions of Act No. 31 of 2024, Decree No. 13 of 2026 concerning Syrian Kurdish citizens and its implementing instructions.
The Ministry of Education of Syria issued a decision to accept the certificates and documents of former "self-management" students and to regulate their registration and transfer, in conjunction with the identification of schools approved for the teaching of Kurdish. The article continued with the teaching of the documents of students of the former "self-management" and specified the Kurdish schools on the basis of a solution.
