The southern coast and the mountainous regions of Madeira Island will be on yellow warning until the weekend because of the rain, which can be strong and sometimes accompanied by wind and thunder.
Periods of rain, accompanied by thunder, begin already during the afternoon of Friday. Yellow warning extends to the archipelago of Madeira and the Eastern Group of the Azores.
Bruna depression, according to the IPMA, is already conditioning the state of time in the Azores, predicting that this influence will be maintained during the next days, with precipitation, wind and sea agitation.
The Eastern Group of the Azores will be on yellow warning by heavy rain on Friday and Saturday, according to the IPMA.
