La Ferme aux Crocodiles, the Drôme's tropical reserve, announces this Tuesday the birth of ten Nile crocodiles during the weekend of August 22. The heat on the ground this summer allowed the incubation of these eggs without human intervention, for the very first time in France.
The surprise was great for the Crocodile Farm crews. Last weekend, they discovered that ten eggs had given birth to small Nile crocodiles on the outside of the park. Quickly spotted, the newborns were recovered by the healers in order to be safe and to benefit from careful follow-up.
