On April 1, 2026, a young lynx, trapped in the nets of a fish farm in Cusance (Doubs), was rescued by the SDIS. The intervention was difficult: the animal lost two claws and one of the firefighters was bitten. The Athenas Center took care of the feline.

The rescues took place in the municipality of Cusance on Wednesday 1 April in the morning. A young lynx was discovered in the nets of a fish farm. He was rescued before being taken over by the Athenas center in the Jura.
