DoorDash giving away $100K in gifts to buyers who prove their holiday package will be late

DoorDash announced the Holiday Rescue Sweepstakes, offering $100,000 in replacement gifts, with entries opening December 20 and 21, and winners announced starting December 22.
Amid widespread holiday shipping delays, DoorDash converted shipping delay alerts into chances for shoppers facing delays to secure replacement gifts, the company said.
Fans enter by commenting with #HolidayRescueSweepstakes and @DoorDash, triggering an auto DM with an entry form listing the delayed item and value; winners get promo codes and gift-replacement links emailed.
A total of 60 customers will receive gift cards covering full cost as Jennifer Richardi, head of brand & creative at DoorDash, said the sweepstakes keeps holiday plans on track.
Reported from Los Angeles, DoorDash highlighted 'From the latest tech and beauty products to toys, apparel and more, DoorDash can get it all delivered in 30 minutes or less,' framing its non-food delivery range.
