There will no longer be any trains running between Limoges and Montmorillon (Vienna) until 26 June 2027. SNCF Réseau starts, on Monday 3 August 2026, the second phase of the modernization of the Limoges-Poitiers line. Passengers will have to adapt with connections and journeys by alternative coach, often longer, throughout the duration of the construction site.
For the renewal of the railway line between Poitiers and Limoges, the TER Montmorillon-Limoges section will be closed from August 3, 2026 to June 26, 2027, but will be maintained by buses.
