Sonia Vacheret, a 54-year-old SVT teacher, had disappeared on 9 May. While an investigation for "disappearance of concern" had been opened by the Besançon Public Prosecutor's Office (Doubs), a body was found in a forest on Monday 31 August.
A body was discovered by a walker on Monday near Besançon. According to the prosecutor's office, it could be the one of the teacher who has disappeared since May 9.

According to the Besançon Public Prosecutor's Office, it could be that of Sonia Vacheret, the teacher bisontine disappeared on 10 May last near Besançon. An autopsy of the body will be carried out.
