The Center for Interdisciplinary Training of Unmanned and Autonomous Maritime Systems was inaugurated today (13/10), in the presence of the Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias, at the "PALASKAS" Training Center.
The Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias, assured that the Greek Navy is the first in Europe in the development of autonomous platforms. This initiative is part of the "Agenda 2030" and includes the establishment of training centers and factories for unmanned and autonomous systems, with the aim of enhancing the operational effectiveness and deterrence power of the Armed Forces.
