Dell Technologies (NYSE:DELL) Shares Up 11.8% - Time to Buy?
On Friday, Dell Technologies stock rose 10% after RBC Capital Markets initiated coverage with an outperform rating and a $640 price target.
Shares have more than quadrupled so far in 2026 as Dell emerged as a top vendor for Nvidia-based servers that cloud companies and enterprises are acquiring for artificial intelligence deployments.
RBC analyst David Paige noted Dell holds $95 billion in server order backlogs, writing, "With no signs of slowing, we believe DELL continues to be well positioned to benefit from a multi-year AI infrastructure spending cycle."
Dell raised its fiscal full-year sales forecast to $192 billion and lifted its AI-optimized server revenue outlook to $74 billion, representing roughly 200% growth year over year.
Paige highlighted Dell's supply chain as a "competitive moat" during supply disruptions, while storage revenue rose 26% last quarter, signaling AI demand is lifting GPU-independent product lines.
