Global crackdown on illicit pharmaceuticals sees $15.5 million in seizures

Interpol said criminals used more than 5,000 websites and bots to sell illicit medicines, including counterfeit weight-loss and steroid products.

Interpol says nearly 270 people suspected of drug trafficking have been arrested and 66 criminal groups dismantled following a major international police operation spanning 90 countries.
