Interstate 691 West is closed in Meriden because of a tractor-trailer fire. The road is closed between exits 3 and 5, according to the state Department of Transportation. State police said troopers responded around 5:21 a.m. Thursday, firefighters responded as well and all lanes are closed as firefighters work to put out the fire. No additional information was immediately available.
