Convoy of supercars 'speeding and heavily braking' seized

On Tuesday, July 28, Essex Police seized 13 high-performance vehicles, including Lamborghinis, Audi R8s, a Ferrari, and a Porsche, after intercepting a dangerous driving convoy on the M11 near Bishop's Stortford.
Witnesses reported the convoy travelling northbound from North East London at 4.20pm, describing drivers accelerating at "excessive speed" before "slowing down suddenly" while allegedly disrupting traffic and using the hard shoulder to undertake other motorists.
Roads Policing Unit officers located the vehicles at junction 8 and issued 13 anti-social driving warnings. Sgt Will Willsher said the behaviour "potentially placed other road users at serious risk" during peak travel times on the busy motorway.
