A 79-year-old man who was seriously injured in a fire near Omiš two weeks ago died in a hospital in Split on Friday. He was Drago Lelas, the former commander of the Omiš volunteer fire department. Lelas is the second fatality in the fire, and the lives of three people are still in danger.

Drago Lelas (1947-2026), former commander of the Omiš DVD and a man who is simply remembered as great in his area, died in a Split hospital as a result of the catastrophic fire that hit the Omiš area two weeks ago! Lelas was 79 years old. The fire found him and his wife in Stanići.
