- On Friday, chef Aaron Thomas won the 7th Superyacht Chef Competition at the Yacht Club de Monaco, securing the title with grilled lobster, bisque, asparagus-morel fricassée, and mille-feuille with chocolate mousse.
- Two-Michelin-Star French chef Philippe Etchebest chaired the expert jury, joined by culinary icons Carlo Cracco, Marcel Ravin, Jeeny Maltese, and Tim Mälzer to evaluate nine international competitors.
- Chefs faced forty-five minutes to prepare their dish with strict waste penalties; Etchebest noted, "On a boat it is the same- and even more important" regarding ingredient conservation.
- Thomas triumphed over finalists Ilija Gojkovic of the 38m M/Y Emocean and Alex Salimbene of the 50m M/Y Moka in the final round, demonstrating superior technique and creativity.
