The number of voters in the first phase was quite good. 61.38 percent voting took place in the first phase on 18 September and 57.31 percent voting took place in the second phase on 26 September. This is the first assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir since the repeal of Article 370 of the Constitution in August 2019, the results of which will be declared on 8 October.
