A Marine assigned to Camp Pendleton was arrested on Thursday by a state Internet crime task force after allegedly contacting minors for sexual purposes while working as a recruiter, said the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office. The 32-year-old staff sergeant was admitted to Vista prison on suspicion of contacting minors for sexual purposes, possession of child sexual abuse material and sending harmful material to minors.
