Many of the ideas of budget cuts have been circulating over the past few weeks in connection with the future finance bill. The Prime Minister assures us that nothing is yet finally decided in view of the screw-up announced this autumn.
The Prime Minister wanted to put an end to the rumours surrounding the preparation of the next budget, in particular the abolition of the APLs for students.
"The real decisions will be announced when they are made, in transparency," the Prime Minister responded on Thursday, while concerns are being raised about the preparation of the 2027 budget.
In order to meet its deficit target of 5% by 2027, the government will have to find billions of euro of savings. The Prime Minister recalled that the budget was "in preparation".
"Deletion of the APLs for students, freezing of the RSA or the minimum old age, questioning the tax credit for personal services, raising the income tax... All this is wrong!" said Lecornu on X.
