- Britt McHenry, a former State Department press advisor, addressed a viral video on Wednesday showing her throwing a drink at a spectator during the October 21 Wizards-Bucks game at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
- Following the incident, McHenry was forced to resign from her role in the Donald Trump administration, a position she had announced just seven weeks earlier via Instagram.

- Admitting she 'probably shouldn't have' engaged with a snarky comment, McHenry later issued an apology, acknowledging she 'allowed my emotions to get the best of me' during the intense moment.
