Britain working with allies to support shipping through Strait of Hormuz
Britain and allies coordinate to ensure commercial shipping safety and insurance amid Iran's threats, with tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz near standstill, officials said.
- On March 10, Downing Street said Britain and allied governments including Germany and Italy agreed on the "vital importance of freedom of navigation" and will work closely to support shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
